The Lands of
Adventure, a program for young people aged 11-16 will provide
inspiration, guidelines and examples of good practice for National

Europe at EUR door
Europe at EUR door is a project based on finding out about another
country. Patrols should be encouraged to select a country that is of
interest to them. There are two aspects to the project: Research and
explore a country and Undertake a series of activities.
Express EURSelf
Express Eurself is a creative project. Encourage your patrols to
select a project that will give them the chance to display their
creative abilities to others. It can be any creative project, a
creative presentation of a patrol's usual activity or a presentation
of the patrol itself where they are from, who they are
EUR Hopping
EUR Hopping is based on completing a project jointly with a patrol
in another country.
There are two
options: to physically meet a patrol to carry out an activity or to
work on a similar project in your own countries

Two Maltese Scout Patrols achieve the first Lands of Adventure
Badges.
The Bulldog Patrol from Zebbug
and the Cobra Patrol from Siggiewi are the first two Maltese Patrols
to obtain the Lands of Adventure Express EURself badge.
Express EURself is a creative
project. It gives the chance to Patrols to display their creative
abilities to others. It can be any creative project, a creative
presentation of a patrol's usual activity or a presentation of the
patrol itself where they are from, who they are...
etc.
Bulldogs
Patrol Zebbug Scout Group
For their Express EURself
project, the Patrol presented a Power Point presentation about an
activity they done in the Marfa Ridge area in Mellieha. The activity
consisted of a hike, a cook out and also they visited the St. Agatha
Tower (Red Tower). After the activity, the Patrol met several times
to prepare a power point presentation. This was later sent to the
LoA Malta Ambassador. The presentation was forwarded to the Director
of Youth Program in the ESR (European Scout Region) office. Badges
where sent directly to the Scout Leader that supported the Patrol to
achieve this badge.
Cobra Patrol Siggiewi
Scout Group

Food was the theme that helped
the Cobra Patrol from Siggiewi to achieve the Express EURself badge.
The Patrol met for a whole day to do the Cook Badge of the Scout
Program. The Scouts worked in a Patrol and finally they presented
what they have cooked Bruschetta as Starter Omlette with
vegetables as Main Course and Jam Tarts as Desert. The following
weeks, the Patrol met to prepare a Power Point presentation about
their Creative Activity. SL Moira Camilleri from Siggiewi was in
charge of the Patrol.
The two Patrols where
individually presented by the local LoA Ambassador the LoA Express
EURself Certificate and each Scout in each Patrol, the LoA Badage.
Once the Patrols achieve the 3
badges, they are allowed to fix the main LoA Badge on the Official
Scout Uniform. Patrols can also participate in LoA Day every year
and LoA Camp every two years.
