Website History

The original website of the Association was inaugurated on November 7, 1998 by the Secretary General of the World Organisation of the Scout Movement, Dr Jacques Moreillon whilst on an official visit to Malta. The website was extensively expanded and renovated in January 2001 and is now full of new features and information. Through this website we hope to give you an understanding of The Scout Association of Malta, its history, its members and its activities. Moreover, we are also presenting to you information on the various Groups that constitute the Association thus enabling you to get in touch with them.

In February 2009 the website enetered into a phased revamp to include more functionality and details, plus a new look.  3 Phases are planned with a target date for full deployment being June 2009.  So far only Phase 1 has been implemented.  So stay tuned for more to come in the very near future
