Where to Stay
	The following is a list of places where to stay associated with the Scout Association of Malta, complete with details and amenities as provided by the administration of each centre. It is the responsibility of the visiting party to communicate with the particular centre to confirm that the amenities listed below will be available during their visit. When visiting from abroad, please get in touch with our International Commissioner who will be able to assist you with all your needs and ensure a pleasant stay. 		Ghajn Tuffieha International Scout Centre Ghajn Tuffieha (pronounced as 'ine' in 'fine' and 'to'+'ff'+'ee'+'ha' as in 'harmony'), measuring circa 15.62 acres (56.26 tumuli), making it the largest camp site on the Maltese islands. This site is administered by the the Scout Association of Malta. It comprises a number of amenities for camping and is constantly adding more. It includes 2 ablution blocks each with ample toilets and shower facilities (also catering for wheelchair access), with hot water. A large amphitheatre with a camp fire area and a large car park. Each sub camp has its own water and electricity access points. The campsite is also adjacent to a 5 Star Hotel, restaurant, bus stop and to the one of the most popular sandy beaches on the island. 		IHQ Floriana Campsite : The campsite has an area of approx. 2560 sq. m. with landscaped grounds, equipped with lighting, water, toilet, shower facilities with heated water and a kitchen. It is surrounded by historical City bastions and fenced all around. Reception Hall : Reception Hall (12.3 m. x 13.85 m.) ideal for parties and other formal occasions. It is fully equipped with foyer, toilet facilities and a kitchen. Meeting Facilities: Multiple meeting room facilities are available. One of the meeting rooms is only accessible via stairs, as is the association archive which is open to the public. Parking Area : Parking area of 1054 sq. m. serving all the above mentioned facilities. Telephone and photocopying services are also offered at an additional charge. 		The Rinella Scout Centre Situated at the NE side of the Grand Harbour at Rinella Creek, the Rinella Scout Centre is secluded in the heart of the valley tucked away from everyday life routine. This ex Royal Navy Wireless and Telegraphy Station has been transformed into a Scout Activity Centre by the Scouts of the South District for the local and International Scouts and Guides. The Campsite is located within walking distance of the Three Cities. The Centre offers facilities such as A 100sqm large multi purpose hall which can be used as dining hall, conference hall / Indoors sleeping area. A fully functional kitchen. 2 Dormitories each housing 12 persons. Separate toilets and showers complete with hot water. 2100 sq m of outdoor camping areas. 1200sq m of asphalted outdoor activity area. Ample parking space. Sandy and rocky beaches for swimming within walking distance. Water taxi on a typical Maltese boat from the beach may also be arranged.
